Writing Perfect Love Letters

Communication is what makes a marriage or any long term relationship stay on track. You must have love, of course, but if you don't find ways to show each other you care, you may find that both partners begin to feel as if they are being taken for granted. When that happens, many bad things can happen that shake the foundation of these relationships. Communications should involved working problems and voicing concerns, but it should also be about showing your partner that you still feel as strongly about them as you did when you were first together. Sometimes, writing love letters is a great way to do this.

Women often need to hear that they are loved and appreciated, often, but don't realize their men need the same thing. The men just never talk about it, and many forget that this is a two way road. Men have a hard time saying the words or expressing the feelings they have in an oral manner, and they often assume the woman should know. Women will think because he isn't saying anything, they should not say anything either. If verbalizing is a problem for either sex, love letters can mean all the difference in the world.

There may be no such thing as the universally perfect love letters, but some will be perfect for you. The point is to put down your feelings in a way that expresses exactly what you feel for the other person in the best way that you know how. Love letters are something that can be saved for years and years, and can be read over and over again. Words are great, and so are gestures and gifts, but letters of love will stand the test of time. They tend to mean so much more because of that very reason.

If you have problems writing love letters, you may be thinking too hard about it. Just write what you feel, and you have what you need. However, you may not think this is good enough, and when that happens, you can always go and find examples of love letters to help you out. You should never take a letter and copy it word for word, but you can use it (and any others you find) as an example or a guideline to help you out with your own. You may find passages in these letters expressing love that say things you feel, but could never put to words. It's not really about what you write, but rather, that you take the time to write something.
