About Perfume Ingredients

You may wonder why some types of perfume are very expensive, and why some of them are so cheap. There are many reasons for this, but the main reason is what goes into them and how they perform after they are made. The perfume ingredients that are put into the product make all the difference in how things turn out. This is the biggest reason why some perfumes are a hundred dollars an ounce, and why some are about a buck for a large bottle. You really do get what you pay for in this case.

High end fragrances only contain the best perfume ingredients that you can buy. These are tested and perfected, at times, over years. These are made to be perfect in every way, and the companies that make them will not put them on the shelves until they are sure they have done all they can to ensure the product is all that it should be. Many of the perfume ingredients for these high end scents are expensive because they are rare, or because they are expensive. They are what all perfumes should be made from, but we all know not everyone can afford perfume at those prices.

Some of the mid priced perfumes will cost between ten and fifty dollars an ounce. These are often quality products as well, but may not be made with the highest quality ingredients you can find. They often will find more affordable things to use that do not do a lot to alter the scent. These will last awhile when put on the skin, but they will not last quite as long as the high end brands. These are great for most people though, as you can find great scents at affordable prices, and the perfume ingredients used are still good for the purpose.

The low end perfumes are often imitations of the high and mid-ranged priced perfumes. Though these can be good, they do not last very long, and they often radically change in scent once they are put on the skin. This is because the perfume ingredients they use to make them are as inexpensive as possible, and once they hit the skin, they deteriorate rather quickly. There is certainly no harm in using these, but you do have to keep a few things in mind. You will have to reapply more often, and you should always test them at home before wearing them out to be sure the ingredients for perfume that they choose don't alter too much with your body chemistry.
